You will need the following ingredients:
- 100g chopped nuts (e.g. walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts)
- 40g cocoa powder
- 60g maple syrup
- 200g oat flakes
- 1 banana
- 25g reoat organic oat drink Barista
- 200ml warm water
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- Vegetable oil for the baking pan
Preparation:
- Mix the reoat organic oat drink Barista with the warm water.
- Start by soaking the oats and reoat oat drink in water overnight in a bowl to create the base of your oat mix.
- The next day, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a baking pan.
- Stir the oat mixture well.
- Mix the soaked oat flakes with the cocoa powder, chopped nuts (80g), maple syrup, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
- Mash the banana into a pulp and mix it into the batter mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan, smooth it out and sprinkle the dough with nuts.
- Bake the porridge cake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and firm.
- After baking, let the cake cool in the pan before serving.
