1. Are you planning new products?

We have big plans and are constantly expanding reoat. This includes new, innovative products. But good things take time, as we all know, so it'll be a while before we can present our latest news to you. Feel free to follow us on Instagram @reoat.de to stay up to date!

2. Is reoat vegan and gluten-free?

Our oat drink, yes!

Our organic oats are regularly tested and are therefore gluten-free according to Regulation (EC) No. 41/2009. This means that the gluten content is below the legally required <20 ppm, and our oat drinks are therefore considered gluten-free.

Our pancake mix and waffle mix are currently only available with gluten. However, they are still vegan, of course!

3. What is the packaging made of?

reoat’s packaging is made of mono-plastic and is 100% recyclable.

4. How should I dispose of the packaging?

Please dispose of your reoat bag(s) in the yellow bag or yellow bin so that the packaging can be 100% recycled!

5. Why aren't your oat drinks called oat milk?

It's actually true that plant-based foods, like our delicious oat drinks, aren't allowed to be called yogurt, cheese, or milk. These names are reserved exclusively for animal-based foods.

Now you're probably wondering why? Well, now it's getting bureaucratic: The "EU Regulation 1308/2013 – Regulation on the common organisation of the markets in agricultural products" stipulates that we may not label our products as oat milk, but only as oat drinks. This is intended to protect consumers, i.e. you, from being deceived – so that you don't mistake our incredibly creamy, delicious oat drinks for cow's milk. ;)

"Milk" is only what can be obtained by milking an udder or milking its secretory glands. This also applies to all other dairy products, such as cheese, etc. Why, for example, scouring milk doesn't have any problems with this regulation? - Well, that's up in the air. But be careful: Please don't drink it!

What does this mean for you? Of course, you can still call it oat milk, but as a manufacturer, we're not allowed to call it that.

6. What ingredients besides oats does reoat contain?

The large mild 1 contains only crystal salt and sunflower oil apart from oats.

7. How much sugar does reoat's oat drink powder contain?

No sugar is added to reoat powder, but oats themselves naturally contain sugar. For detailed information, see the nutritional information in the shop.

8. How long does the opened oat powder last?

Thanks to the resealable packaging, you can easily store your reoat powder until the expiration date if you store it in a cool, dry place.

So you can use it up in peace!

9. How long does the reoat drink last once I have mixed it?

You should store the freshly mixed reoat drink in the refrigerator and consume it within 3 days.

Don’t forget to shake well before each consumption!

10. What can I use reoat's oat drink powder for?

Our oat drink powders are absolute all-rounders when it comes to milk substitutes. From barista-style foam on your coffee to shakes to cooking or baking, your imagination knows no bounds. Have you used Reoat for your culinary highlights? Tag @reoat.de on Instagram so we can admire your ideas!

11. Is the reoat oat drink foamable?

Yes, and it's really good too! Our reoat Barista oat drink can be frothed hot or cold and is in no way inferior to cow's milk in a cappuccino!

12. What is the difference between reoat and regular oat drinks?

There's no difference between your ready-shaken reoat oat drink and any other oat drink. Except, of course, that you save water, packaging waste, and CO₂ (Did I mention you can store an opened bag for up to 3 months? Say goodbye to food waste!)

13. Is Reoat oat drink healthy?

When developing our oat drink powders, it was important to us to keep the oat drink you shake as natural as possible! That's why we avoid adding sugar, flavorings, thickeners, or other stabilizers to keep our ingredient list as short as possible. Of course, oats already contain glucose and are therefore not "sugar-free." You can read more about this in the respective nutritional information for our oat drink powders.

 

14. What are the benefits of drinking oat drinks?

Because the oat plant is somewhat resistant to weeds, little to no pesticide treatment is required. Furthermore, our oats aren't transported long distances and are truly organic! And did we mention that plant-based drinks generally have a better carbon footprint than cow's milk? Oats are one of the most climate-friendly options, making them a great substitute for milk in your cereal.

So in short: regional cultivation, organic quality, better environmental balance and “No animal was harmed in the making of this delicious oat-drink”.

1. Which payment methods do you accept?

The available payment methods are credit card, PayPal, ApplePay, credit and debit cards, Giropay and Sofortüberweisung (Klarna).

2. How much are the shipping costs?

Our shipping costs are calculated based on weight. However, we'll give them away for orders over €50 ;)

3. Can I order reoat outside of Germany?

So far you can order from us in Germany and Austria.
