The Iced Latte Macchiato is your cool treat, providing a refreshing change, especially on warm days. In this vegan version with reoat Barista Oat Drink, the traditional drink becomes a highlight for anyone who appreciates plant-based alternatives. The layering of espresso, oat drink, and ice makes each glass a visual and flavorful eye-catcher.
You will need the following ingredients:
- 1 espresso (approx. 30 ml)
- 25g reoat oat drink Barista
- 200ml cold water
- large ice cubes
- Optional: sugar for sweetening
Preparation:
- First prepare the espresso and let it cool down a bit.
- Fill a tall glass halfway with ice cubes.
- Add the water to the Barista oat drink powder and mix it with a milk frother until a light foam forms. If you have a milk frother with a cold frothing option at home, you can of course use that as well. Just make sure the oat drink stays cold.
- Slowly pour the cold and frothy reoat oat drink over the ice. For a clear layer, gently let the oat drink flow down the side of the glass.
- Slowly pour the cooled espresso over the back of a spoon so that it settles on top of the oat drink and creates beautiful layers.
- Sweeten to taste with sugar or your preferred sweetener.
