You will need the following ingredients:

  • 20g reoat oat drink Barista
  • 200ml water
  • 1 apple, peeled and cut into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Maple syrup or agave syrup (optional)
  • Chopped nuts or almonds for garnish

Preparation:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, oats, reoat oat drink, apple pieces, cinnamon and a pinch of salt to create a harmonious oat mixture and bring to a boil.
  2. Once it comes to a simmer, reduce the heat and simmer gently for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the porridge has thickened nicely and the oats are tender and soft.
  3. Depending on your preference, sweeten your breakfast bowl with maple syrup or agave syrup to give the porridge a subtle sweetness.
